How The Heat Map Data Is Sourced
The Pennsylvania Lottery posts a report of monthly winning tickets and prize amounts to the public for transparency. The heat map data is aggregated from those reports for the last 12 months available.
Changes Coming for 2026
Pennsylvania recently updated several of its rules and requirements pertaining to the lottery. Some of those rule changes include increased protection for large prize winners. Because of that it is unlikely that Pennsylvania will continue to publish names of winners, but likely will still post the prize amounts and locations claimed. Ever since these rules were changed in early 2026 There has not been a monthly winners report. We are hopeful this data is currently in flight and will be released soon so we can continue to update the heat map, but please be aware the numbers are currently for the last 12 months ending December 2025.
