How The Heat Map Data Is Sourced

The Pennsylvania Lottery posts a report of monthly winning tickets and prize amounts to the public for transparency. The heat map data is aggregated from those reports for the last 12 months available.

Changes Coming for 2026

Pennsylvania recently updated several of its rules and requirements pertaining to scratch-off lottery. Some of those rule changes include increased protection for large prize winners. Because of that it is unlikely that Pennsylvania will continue to publish names of winners, but likely will still post prize amounts and locations claimed. Monthly winner reports are being generated once again on the Pennsylvania Lottery website! That is great news for our heatmap as it is now completely up to date.
